The Format

28 teams of 4, battling it out over two days at Riyadh Golf Club to become the fifth Aramco Team Series champions of 2023. Using a unique scoring system, and allowing an amateur to contribute to the final result of a professional tour event with a total prize fund of $1m, the Aramco Team Series, continues to bring a new level of excitement and entertainment to the Ladies European Tour.

As well as the team event, there is be a three-day individual strokeplay competition contested between a 84 player field. Coming to a conclusion on the final day after the team event is finalised and the field cut to 60 and ties, the individual competition contributes towards Race to Costa Del Sol and Rolex world Ranking points.

Winners

In the team competition, the birdies and eagles were flowing all around but Carlota Ciganda, seemingly inspired by her recent Solheim Cup exploits, led her team victory at a staggering -43. Ciganda was teamed up with Sara Kouskova, Alessandra Fanali, and aspiring Riyadh Golf club member, Lujain Khalil.

Alison Lee took the individual crown and in some style. She broke the 36 and 54 hole LET records whilst equalling the record for most under par at an event thanks to rounds of 61,61, and 65. A truly sensational display that will go down in history.
