LONDONERS BASK IN TOWER BRIDGE SUNSHINE TO HONE CHIPPING SKILLS

27 June 2024

Londoners were all too happy to swap umbrellas for golf clubs as Tower Bridge formed the glorious backdrop to a challenge which put chipping skills to the test.

As the country continued to sizzle in a long overdue spell of summer sun, the heat was definitely on for those taking part in the ‘Chip To Win’ competition, hosted by the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF.

With the innovative women’s golf event set to return to London for the fourth time, participants aimed to emulate the skills of Team GB duo Charley Hull and Georgia Hall, both set to compete in the tournament at Centurion Club next week.

Over 500 people took part in the challenge across the River Thames from the Tower of London at Potters Field Park, with top prizes including the chance to play at the Centurion Club, as well as American Golf and SquareMeal vouchers.

Women’s golf influencers Georgia Ball (@GeorgiaGolfCoach) and Ellie Skoog (@puttingwithellie) were also on hand to help beginners pick up some new skills.
