Defending individual Champion Bronte Law and compatriots Georgia Hall and Charley Hull confirm they will play at Aramco Team Series presented by Public Investment Fund - London

There will be an English feel to this year’s Aramco Team Series presented by Public Investment Fund – London as home favourites Georgia Hall, Charley Hull and defending individual Champion Bronte Law confirm they will once again play at Centurion Club.

All three teed it up on the same course in last year’s event with Hull finishing fourth and Hall second, but it was Law who stole the show snatching the individual title from Hall with a monstrous 55-foot eagle putt on the 18th green in front of rapturous applause.

Last year’s team event also had fireworks as Team Nicole Garcia, made up of Garcia, Kelly Whaley, Madelene Stavnar and amateur Mia Baker, won a play-off against Team Ursula Wikstrom, and World Number 13 Hall believes July’s event will deliver a similar spectacle.

She said: “Having the two tournaments running alongside each other gives the opportunity for double the amount of entertainment and that was definitely what happened last year.

“Bronte holed an incredible putt to take the individual title which was obviously disappointing but I am definitely looking to go one better this year."

Georgia Hall - World Number Ten

“I always try and play Ladies European Tour events when my schedule allows, and I love being a part of the Aramco Team Series tournaments. I’m looking forward to getting back to Centurion Club in July and playing a golf course I love.”

The tournament will take place from 14 – 16 July and will be the third Aramco Team Series event of the year, after previous editions in Singapore and Florida, and the 15th stop on a record-breaking Ladies European Tour schedule.

World number 16 Hull is excited to play in front of a home crowd and added: “I spend the majority of my time playing on the LPGA so having the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd is one I always try and take.

“I really enjoyed my experience in London last year and love the innovative format that the Aramco Team Series offers. We are always so well looked after on these weeks and the experience on and off the golf course is second to none.

“It will be great to go up against Georgia and Bronte again and I hope the fans come out in numbers to experience the Aramco Team Series and everything it has to offer.”

Charley Hull

28-year-old Law is aiming to challenge on both fronts with both an individual title and team title on offer once again. The $1million prize fund will be split evenly across the two competitions and vital Costa Del Sol ranking points will also be on offer.

Law is looking to defend her title and commented: “Obviously I was fortunate enough to win the individual title last year which was one of the best moments of my career.

“As professionals we always aim to win every tournament we are involved in, and I am no different in my desire to be successful again in the individual competition. But I also really enjoy the team aspect and want to put a team together that can be in contention.

“Centurion Club is a course I really enjoy playing and we are always backed by amazing home crowds whenever we play in England. I’m looking forward to teeing it up in another Aramco Team Series event in July and hope to see you there!”
