World No. 8 Charley Hull says it will be a special moment when the Ladies European Tour (LET) makes its tournament bow in South Korea, home to some of the world’s greatest women golfers, at the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – Korea.
Hull will captain one of the 36 teams that will go head-to-head at New Korea Country Club from 10-12 May for the coveted team title as a further day of golf will determine the individual champion.
Women’s golf most innovative tournament will make its mark in Seoul, as the first and only tournament in the world where an amateur plays alongside three professionals to contribute to the final score.
For Hull, competing in a new location for both the series and LET is a great opportunity to bring the foray of the tour to the world’s women’s golf powerhouse.
“Korea has produced some incredible women’s golfers who are consistently performing at the top. Having the LET and Aramco Team Series make that move to bring us to Korea will be a fantastic chance for us to show all the avid golf fans what makes this series so unique and showcase the talent who play across it.”

Charley Hull - World Number 8
Earlier this year Hull achieved a career-high World No. 7 ranking after a peak season on the greens. The Briton enters the second round of the series with a hunger for claiming the individual title, having narrowly missed out in Tampa, where German Alexandra Forsterling emerged victorious.
“My game has been in great shape this season which has helped my confidence both on and off the course. Last time out in Tampa I came close, but I’m determined to go one better in Korea. It would be great to claim the first ever LET win in the country, and give myself momentum ahead of a big year.”
Hull will be joined by South Korea’s very own Hyo-Joo Kim and United States’ Danielle Kang, as they compete in the first professional golf tournament to be held at the exclusive New Korea Country Club for the first time in 38 years.
With a $1m prize fund up for grabs, fans can expect a heated three days of competition as the world’s best compete for the two titles in the modern home of women’s golf.
