CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY AT ARAMCO TEAM SERIES PRESENTED BY PIF - TAMPA

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, all women and girls will be given free admission to the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – Tampa on Friday 8 March.

Women’s sport has seen rapid growth recently across the globe, with a recent report from Deloitte predicting that 2024 will see women’s sport generate more than $1 billion USD in revenue for the first time.

International Women’s Day 2024 presents the perfect opportunity to watch the elite of women’s golf battle in Tampa Bay from March 8-10, taking place at Feather Sound Country Club, Clearwater.

LPGA stars Lexi Thompson and Megan Khang are confirmed to take to the greens of Feather Sound Country Club, Clearwater, for what is set to be an electric weekend, as the innovative event series lands on the shores of Tampa for the first time.

The Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF is committed to making an impact around the world with its mission to #SEETheImpact – focusing on the positive social, economic and environmental influence the tournament can deliver.

Contributing a total of $5 million USD to the Ladies European Tour (LET) annual purse, the tournament inspires the next generation of women and girls worldwide.

For those new to the unique women’s golf event, the global tournament series combines world class women’s golfers and amateurs in the first two days to battle for the team trophy - before the professionals get down to business on Sunday and compete for the individual title and a win on the LET.

#InspireInclusion is at the heart of the event for International Women’s Day as the event offers free tickets for women and girls, calling upon those who may never usually attend a golf event to witness the very pinnacle of the sport.

The series emphasises that golf is a game for everyone regardless of gender and background. The tournament will also feature the vibrant Aramco Energy Zone, where event attendees can enjoy an exciting mix of activities that combine technology and sport into immersive experiences.

Spectators can explore the augmented reality of Putt View X, taking golf to new heights, and dive into virtual worlds with the VR setups, including Golf + and NFL Pro.

With mini golf and lawn games like cornhole and Giant Jenga, it’s the perfect environment to challenge your friends and family, before unwinding under the stretch canopy bar, exploring the food trucks, and dancing into the evening as the resident DJ brings the vibes.
