Aramco Team Series will return in 2023 with five events in five different countries

The Aramco Team Series will once again form an integral part of the Ladies European Tour in 2023, with five events taking place across five different countries throughout the year.

Golf’s global series will visit four completely new destinations next year, as the Aramco Team Series will be made up of events in Singapore, Florida, London, Riyadh and another to be confirmed Asian venue. London is the only host venue to return from 2022 as Singapore replaces Bangkok, Florida replaces New York, a to be confirmed Asian city replaces Sotogrande, and Riyadh replaces Jeddah in the schedule.

The first leg of the Aramco Team Series will take place in Singapore at Laguna National Golf Club from 16-18 March, closely followed by a Florida event which will take place at Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach from 19-21 May.

The tournament will return to Centurion Club on the outskirts of London from 14-16 July, and golf’s global series will be concluded by events in Asia and Riyadh, on 13-15 October and 3-5 November, respectively.

The aim of taking golf’s global series to new corners of the globe is to showcase the Aramco Team Series’ unique and innovative format to new audiences and to continue to grow golf, and specifically women’s golf, throughout the world.

This year’s schedule saw some of the biggest names in female golf compete, with the likes of the Korda sisters, Lexi Thompson, Georgia Hall and Charley Hull regulars at Aramco Team Series tournaments. 2023’s events will once again provide life-changing prize funds, with US$1million up for grabs for participants.

Majed Al-Sorour, CEO and Deputy Chairman of Golf Saudi, said: “2022 saw five spectacular Aramco Team Series events with some of the best golfers in the game competing for massive prize funds.

“We are excited to bring golf’s global series back in 2023 and delighted to be working closely with the Ladies European Tour once again. Next year’s schedule will look different as we continue to achieve our aim of growing the women’s game throughout the world.
