American stars will return for New York!

A trio of American stars will join the best players from the Ladies European Tour to compete in this year’s Aramco Team Series – New York event and tickets for the fourth leg of this year’s competition are now on sale.

Aramco Team Series Sotogrande individual winner, Nelly Korda and her sister, Jessica, the team title winner in Spain, who are ranked second and 13th in the world respectively, will feature on home soil.

They will be joined by another American star as world number seven Lexi Thompson will also tee it up in New York, joined by recent LET tournament champions Anna Nordqvist, Tiia Koivisto, Manon De Roey, Ana Pelaez and Maja Stark, the LET’s Race to Costa del Sol leader.

Following the success of the 2021 event at Glen Oaks, where England’s Charley Hull earned a one-stroke victory over Nelly Korda in the individual event and Jessica Korda’s quartet triumphed in the team event, this unique, innovative format will head back to New York, with tickets available from just $5 for adults and entry free for U16s.

Host of the 2022 Aramco Team Series – New York, Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point will give golf fans from America and beyond the opportunity to see everything the tournament has to offer.

The course provides the perfect location for the fourth event of this year’s Aramco Team Series, being located only 10 minutes from Manhattan and this will be the first time an event of this calibre has been held in New York City with incredible accessibility to enjoy a professional golf event.

World number two, Nelly Korda, is excited to be taking part in the Aramco Team Series event once again and said: “We had so much fun in Spain recently and I can’t wait to be part of the tournament once again in New York.

“It was great to battle it out with Jessica in Sotogrande and great for both of us to come away with our respective titles. Let’s hope we can have similar fortunes in New York in October!”

World number seven, Thompson, is equally thrilled to be competing in New York and added: “I loved my experience of the Aramco Team Series last year and I can’t wait to tee it up in New York in October.

“Everything about the event is amazing with all the players looked after throughout the week and the format is equally fun to be a part of. I am looking forward to being a part of the event again and challenging for both titles!”
