The exclusive New Korea Country Club is ready to open its doors to the public for the first time in nearly 30 years tomorrow. The Aramco Team Series presented by PIF will tee off at the private members club as 36 teams and 118 professionals compete for the $1 million prize fund.

For the club, the prospect of hosting the innovative event presented a rare and exciting opportunity to showcase the course to the local community, Ladies European Tour (LET) and viewers worldwide.

In a strategic move, the series has pledged three years of thrilling competition within South Korea, a testament to its confidence in the nation's passion and talent for golf.

Four of the tournament’s team captains gathered on the club’s signature 10th hole ahead of the event, with scenic views over the Seoul mountain range painting a stunning picture.

Frenchwoman Roussin-Bouchard hopes to keep her series winning streak going, looking for back-to-back team titles, and the defense of her individual crown whilst soaking up the Korean culture.

“There's something about this tournament that I just love,” said Roussin-Bouchard.

“It's a brand-new golf course, an entire different setup, and honestly, it's a brand new week, so I haven't really been thinking about it [defending the title].

“We've had a couple of places that we wanted to eat out here, and we've been eating a lot of Korean barbeque, it’s how we've been scheduling our day.”

Danielle Kang has vowed to not make Roussin-Bouchard’s title defense easy, however, with the American hungry to ensure she doesn’t fall short this time around, after finishing one behind Roussin-Bouchard in Singapore last year.
