Royal Greens Golf and Country Club is a premier 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse, boasting a panoramic view of the Red Sea coast as its natural backdrop.
The ambition for Royal Greens Golf and Country Club is to create an unparalleled destination for both the game’s connoisseurs and new players of the sport, whilst also appealing to those looking for an exclusive lifestyle experience, enriching the already premium offering of King Abdullah Economic City.

About Royal Greens
Designed by European Golf Design (EGD) the course is one of the best in the Middle East, embracing strategic elements of the greatest golf courses in the world. The course landscape is characterized by beautifully manicured fairways and greens, enhanced by the carefully created wadi and lake features, which are surrounded by a flurry of well-maintained native flora.
There is a wealth of practice areas, including a driving range, swing studios, and putting greens, designed to help the golfer improve overall play and advance technical skills
Royal Greens Golf & Country Club has won a number of awards recognizing its golf and clubhouse facilities. The Clubhouse design has been influenced by the Italian Miesian Mediterranean architectural style and uses worldwide sourced products making each room a unique piece of art.
The Clubhouse visually blends with the surrounding city landscape, making it one of the most attractive buildings in the Eastern Province.
The 18th hole, a reachable par-5, provides stunning views of the clubhouse, perched above the lake with multiple viewing terraces.
Royal Greens Golf & Country Club provides golfers an opportunity to join a superior private golfing facility with membership options designed to offer greater flexibility to suit each member’s lifestyle.
Royal Greens has a range of exceptional golfing holes, highlighted by the final stretch that has resulted in some of the finest tour finishes to any tournament.
Hole 16, one of the most famous in the Middle-East, and home to the best backdrop of any given golf hole in Saudi Arabia. A short par-3, framed by the Red Sea and the sounds of waves crashing into the sandy beach. Although the safe shot is to miss right, it provides a very tough up and down, with the green sloping towards the water.
Hole 18, a rewarding par-5, but only for the best of approach shots. Those who are brave and accurate enough, a good tee shot opens up the eagle opportunity, leaving a mid-short iron into the water-surrounded green. Those who conquer the 18th each day, are sure to be in contention come the final round.
“ No two consecutive holes play in the same direction, and the wind will be a key and variable factor in the course’s strategy. Golfers will also need to be thoughtful from the tee, in particular on the dogleg holes which require precision placement ”
