The Format 

28 teams of 4, battling it out over two days at Hong Kong Golf Club to become the fourth Aramco Team Series champions of 2023. Using a unique scoring system, and allowing an amateur to contribute to the final result of a professional tour event with a total prize fund of $1m, the Aramco Team Series, continues to bring a new level of excitement and entertainment to the Ladies European Tour.

As well as the team event, there is a three-day individual strokeplay competition contested between a 84-player field. Coming to a conclusion on the final day after the team event is finalised and the field cut to 60 and ties, the individual competition contributes to Race to Costa Del Sol and Rolex World Ranking points.

Winners

It was Team Napoleaova who came out on top in the team competition as they recorded a final round score of 21 under par to clinch a one-stroke victory over Team Cheenglab. Joined by teammates Laura Fuenfstueck, Magdalena Simmermacher and amateur John Hyun, Kristyna Napoleaova lifted the trophy for her first team win.

In the individual competition, Xiyu Lin and Jin Young Ko were tied on 11 under par after 36 holes, but bad weather caused the final day of the tournament to be cancelled resulting in a playoff hole. It was Xiyu Lin who emerged victorious after defeating, World No.3, Jin Young Ko on the second playoff hole to claim her third Ladies European Tour title and first Aramco Team Series presented by PIF title.
